Two-Way Defenseman joining QHA
The Type of Player who strives in Critical Moments
We are excited to introduce our newest addition to the agency, defenseman William Eriksson. The 20-year-old 6’2″ (187cm), 190 lbs (86kg) defenseman is originally from Ängelholm, Sweden. During the 22/23 season, William was playing for Strömsbro IF in the Swedish third tier, Hockeyettan. He is represented by player agent Tobias Johansson.
William is a solid two-way defenseman who is big and strong and who has taken great strides to improve his game this season. According to Eliteprospects 2020 NHL Draft Guide, William was described thusly; “Eriksson plays a simple but effective game. He shows good competitiveness and determination in his physical play, where he consistently wins puck battles along the boards. When he has the puck in his own zone, Eriksson stays calm, keeps it simple, and just tries to make plays that avoid trouble.”
His player agent, Tobias Johansson, adds: “He is the type of player you want on your team, whether protecting a lead or trying to tie it up, you want him on the ice in those situations. He is a team player who always puts his teammates first.”
Welcome to the QHA family, William.
