Tobias was born in Kalmar, Sweden. Growing up, he played soccer and ice hockey. At the age of 16, the focus was only on ice hockey and he moved to Tingsryd’s AIF and played there in J18 Elite, J20 Elite and Hockeyallsvenskan, a total of four seasons in Dackehallen (Nelson Garden Arena) as a goalkeeper. The player career ended with a final year in the youth team Kalmar HC in the 2002-2003, that season ended up with promotion to division 2.
After his active career, ice hockey has continued to be a big part of Tobias’ life and he has worked as both coach, general manager, president and chairman of the board from division 3 up to Hockeyettan in Sweden. All years in the youth team Kalmar Hockey Club.
Next to ice hockey, Tobias has over 15 years of experience in various roles in leadership, business development and organizational development. Today, he works as vice CEO of a company in property management. He also has experience of board work in several different sports clubs in Sweden with successful results.
