Big and Talented Goalie Joins QHA

We are happy to announce our newest client to the agency, goaltender Markus Nykvist Sandrud. The 6’4″ (192cm) 185lbs (84kg) 19-year-old goalie is from Sundsvall, Sweden, and plays for Timra IK J20 in J20 Nationell. This season he got a taste of the SHL and HockeyEttan, although he didn’t see game action the experience was invaluable and a testament to how highly he is thought of.  Markus will be represented by agent Tobias Johansson.

Markus’s strengths include his size, positioning, and patience, he is ready to take the next step in his career. His agent Tobias Johansson says “Markus is a tall goalkeeper who is calm and methodical, he is good at keeping his cool and letting the shooter commit the first move. With his size, he covers a lot of ground and he takes advantage of this by taking up as much net space as possible. He is very determined and serious about his hockey, he’s risen steadily through his career and is now ready for the next step.”
