QHA Player Agent moves on to Newport Sports Management

It is our pleasure to announce that former QHA player agent Adam Carlsson was hired by Newport Sports Management for a position in their agency. Adam has accepted the offer and he will be parting ways with QHA effective immediately. Adam has left a significant mark at Quantum Hockey Agency by having a large clientele, contributing to the great atmosphere amongst his colleagues and he played a major part in organizing our camps.

Adam, who was recruited by Quantum Hockey Agency in the summer of 2020 and fresh into the industry did not start slow. He built a strong clientele quite quickly and did everything he could to help his players. At the end of July 2022, Adam was approached by Newport Sports Management to replace their former Player Agent and now Assistant General Manager in Frölunda HC, Andreas West.

With Adam’s departure, there are also questions about his current clientele at QHA. This will be shared in a later press release. When reached for comment Adam replied, “I am leaving QHA only because this is a great opportunity for myself. When I became an agent I set some goals for myself to reach and this is one of them. When the chance to work for such a big agency presented itself it was hard to pass up. This is a great opportunity to develop as an agent, help my clients and work with some of the best in the industry.” Adam was asked what does QHA mean to him? ” Without QHA I would not have this opportunity so of course QHA means a lot to me and always will. I would still recommend to players that need representation to reach out to them for help, the people working there are genuine and knowledgeable and want to help their players succeed.”

Although it stings to lose such a great person and agent, I cannot be anything else than proud of a moment like this. It speaks volumes for the work Adam has done but also for our agency in general.
