Join us in welcoming our newest defensive prospect into the Quantum fold, Simon Karjalainen. Simon is 17 years old, 5’9″, 161 lbs. playing for Wings HC in J18 Region. He’s an exciting player that is responsible defensively while showing great skills in the offensive game as well.

According to his player agent, Sweden-based Robin Mattebo, “Simon is a two-way defenseman, who contributes equally in the defence as well as in the offence. His skating skills and physical strength are abilities that make him a solid player on his own end. He has a good sense for the game and can contribute offensively from the blue line.”

Simon´s diligence and persistence have brought him to this point in his career and he is on the right track to achieve the goals he has set out for himself.
