Offensive Defenseman Joins QHA

A Great Start to the Season

QHA is happy to announce our newest signing, Pontus Englund. The 22-year-old Defenseman stands 6’3″ weighs 198 lbs and hails from Sundsvall Sweden. He is currently playing for his hometown team, Sundsvall Hockey, in HockeyEttan. Pontus has had a good start to his season, with 5 games played he has 1 goal and 4 assists totalling 5 points.

Good With The Puck, Size & Good Vision

Pontus decided to join QHA after multiple discussions with our Player agent, Robin Mattebo. He feels comfortable with Robin and thinks the agency could help him in his career. “It feels good and very exciting to be a part of QHA”, Pontus says.

Pontus’s strengths as a player are his size, his play with the puck, his vision on the ice and his offensive game. He hopes to have a good season so his team earns a promotion and to develop himself as much as possible to see how far he can go in his career. Off the ice he spends time with family and friends, plays video games and padel when he has time. Pontus has the interesting habit of always getting dressed from left to right, i.e. first the left skate and then the right skate.

We welcome Pontus to QHA and look forward to working with him.
