Big and Strong Two-Way Defender

Join us in welcoming QHA’s newest addition, Martin Brovall. The 19-year-old 6’2″, 185 lbs. left shooting defenseman will play for HV71 J20 this season. Although only 19 years old, the youngster has already seen action in SHL, Hockeyallsvenskan and Hockey Ettan which bolds well for Martin’s future.

We at QHA are excited about Martin’s potential, he’s a big and strong two-way defenseman who’s very solid defensively and relied upon in big moments of the game. He is known as a shut-down defenseman with a strong net-front presence while battling opposing forwards. Agent Robin Mattebo adds ” Martin puts himself in a good position, he throws powerful hits and has a great sense for the game. While his defensive game is solid, his offensive game will flourish with more opportunities in the o-zone, he handles the puck well and is a strong passer.” In his spare time, Martin likes to play golf and hits the links whenever he can.
