Peña with a hot start to 2022

This week we are checking in on our client Payge Pena. The Canadian-born forward is enjoying success in her first professional season playing for Leksands IF in the SDHL, Sweden.

For those that don’t know Payge, here is a quick recap,  she is a 26-year-old, 5’7″ right-shooting forward who played her college hockey at St. Cloud State University before moving on to the professional ranks. She is currently playing for Leksands IF in the SDHL, her inaugural professional season. So far, she is enjoying her time living abroad, with her teammates and seems to have found a way to produce at the start of 2022. In January month Payge had a streak of 5 goals in 3 games and helped her team win a few important games.

Payge’s agent, Brandyn Garth, adds ” I am extremely happy with what Payge has accomplished in her first pro season! Her game is transitioning to the bigger ice, which is evident in her goal streak! I am excited to see what Payge can do the rest of the season and into the postseason.”
